As I live in Bulgaria, Greece is an excellent place to visit. It's at a relatively small distance, just under 3 hours from Sofia. Then, the country has a perfect climate and can be visited through all seasons. Greece is affordable and has many sights to offer. There's plenty of reasons to visit. Not only for Bulgarians but for tourists from all over the world! I visited twice, once I went to the Halkidiki region and a few weeks later I made a tour through Central Greece. Both in September 2017. Both a fantastic experience. Good weather and few tourists. Plenty of free accommodation and empty beaches. Nothing more to wish for!
